Marsha is the founder of Empowered Rez Chick. Her company embodies her drive for success & motivation to strive towards self-determination.

Marsha grew up in the Siksika First Nation community and was inspired by the many successful Indigenous women she met during her leadership journey as a Councilor.
Marsha has +10 years of leadership and management expertise supporting her in her goal to influence the way the world views Indigenous women. She believes Indigenous women have strong voices and the power to create change in everything they aspire to do in life.

Marsha always believed Indigenous women are continuously up against oppressive factors such as racism, stereotypes, gender inequality, violence and so much more. “We can and we have overcome many challenges and together we can begin to change the narrative.”
She felt the need to inspire others because there are many who struggle with self-confidence and feel unsure of their voice.
“I made the decision to encourage and motivate others around me whose voices have been shut! I will use my voice to help you find yours!”
